Initiate

Stand Your Project Up Right.

Most projects fail not because the team wasn't capable, but because they were never set up correctly. No clear scope. No shared understanding of success. No plan for what happens when things go sideways. Initiate fixes that — before it costs you.

What Initiate Includes

A 2–4 week engagement that builds the full project foundation from scratch — before execution begins.

The Approach

We start with structured stakeholder interviews to understand your constraints, priorities, and success criteria. Then we build your core project documents — charter, stakeholder register, risk register, communication plan — and close with a facilitated team alignment session.

You get the structure your project needs before execution begins — and a team that's actually ready to move.

The Three Phases

  • Discovery Stakeholder interviews, constraint mapping, review of existing materials
  • Documentation Charter, registers, and communication plan built and reviewed with your sponsor
  • Alignment Facilitated session with the full team to build shared understanding and commit to a path forward

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be done remote?

Yes. All discovery and documentation work happens remote. The alignment session works best in-person if possible, but we can facilitate hybrid or fully remote if needed — just let's discuss the tradeoffs on the discovery call.

How long does this actually take?

Typically 2–4 weeks depending on project complexity and team availability. The faster timeline assumes stakeholders can respond quickly to interview requests and review feedback. We'll nail down a realistic schedule on the discovery call.

What if my project is already underway?

Initiate is designed for projects before execution starts. If your project is already running and needs realignment, Reset is the better fit — it diagnoses what went wrong and rebuilds from there.

Do I need a project management background?

No. We handle the methodology and facilitation. You need decision authority and stakeholder access — that's it. We'll build the structure together.
