Reset

Your Project Isn't Dead.
But It Needs Help.

Deadlines slipped. The team stopped communicating openly. Scope grew without anyone deciding to grow it. You're not sure if the project can be saved, but you're not ready to kill it either. Reset gives you an honest picture of what went wrong and a structured path to get it back on track.

What Reset Includes

A two-phase engagement — diagnose first, then facilitate recovery.

The Approach

We start with structured interviews with your sponsor and team members individually, review your project artifacts, and build an honest diagnostic of what actually went wrong and what's recoverable.

Then we run a facilitated reset session that re-establishes scope, ownership, and commitments — and closes with a realistic path forward.

The Three Phases

  • Diagnose Sponsor and team interviews conducted individually, artifacts reviewed, findings synthesized into a Diagnostic Report
  • Reset Session Facilitated session that presents honest findings, re-scopes the project, re-clarifies ownership, closes with team commitments
  • Follow-up 2-week check-in call to confirm momentum held and surface any new blockers

Who Reset Is For

If any of these describe your situation, Reset is the right fit.

Founders whose project is behind and losing momentum — needs an honest diagnostic and structured reset.

Leaders who inherited a troubled project and need to understand what went wrong before fixing it.

Teams where conflict or confusion has stalled delivery and relationships are strained.

Sponsors deciding whether to re-commit or shut it down — need clear-eyed assessment first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you tell us what we don't want to hear?

Yes. The diagnostic report is honest — that's the whole point. We identify what actually went wrong, not what's convenient to hear. Then we help you decide what to do about it.

What if the project should be shut down?

If the diagnosis indicates that, we say so. But most projects in trouble can be recovered — they just need honest assessment and structured intervention. The diagnosis determines your path forward.

Can this work remote?

Interviews can be remote. The reset session works best in-person if possible. We can facilitate hybrid, but in-person tends to produce better outcomes with troubled teams.

How long does the whole engagement take?

Typically 4–6 weeks from discovery through follow-up. Depends on team availability for interviews. We'll nail down a timeline on the discovery call.
